Hey, I thought that she looked cute just like this. I mean, you only get to be five once right? Why not have fun with it??? So I sent her off to bed. In the morning a few had fallen out and they looked pretty...or at least I thought.
Then we took them all down and we separated them....This is where the 'rule of thumb' comes in. If you have a sweet little girl with sweet little curls (albeit a little frizzy at times) try not to section her hair too much because the curl is going to take like it is going out of style! Woooo! How to control this????
Well, with a little more defrizzer and a lot of patience, this is what we came up with. I think it turned out cute. Next time I think I will try only four sections and maybe it will turn out looser - hopefully a lot looser.

Very cute blog Rachel. Remind me to show you a picture of my hair one day after I had it in a twisty bun. Maybe I'll get brave and put it on my blog . . . it is certainly an example of a hair DON'T!
Cali-Pali! You are Bee-OO-ti-ful! Your hair in little buns reminds me of someone from Who-ville, and the curls...gorgeous! I miss you!
Oh too have curly hair! I would die for just a quarter of it. You girls are soooooo cute. You looked beautiful Cali. You have perfect storybook curls!
Cali, you're so gorgeous!
I think her hair turned out so cute--and she is very cute herself. I regularly put my middle child's hair in those buns, but only 2-3 sections because her hair is so thin and fine and will get way tooooo curly.
I am soooo glad Sadie has straight hair. I wouldn't know what to do with curly hair. And Cali looks just like Andrew when he was little!!
